Wacky Wednesday

We all know some days are just wacky. It’s a story about a kid on how everything is wacky on one Wednesday. Kids will  have fun finding wacky things in illustrations to make it more fun. Even the Cat in the Hat logo is wacky on the cover. It is fun book to read and kids will enjoy somethings are just wacky some days.

The more you read Cat in the Hat books, the more you fall in love with them. Green Eggs and Ham is one of the children’s classics and kids will build childhood memories for life. It’s a cute story in which Sam-I-am asks about Green Eggs and Ham, and Cat in the Hat responds in funny rhyming ways with repetition that kids enjoy reading the build. It builds responses on all previous questions asked so responses get bigger and bigger as you read it. It can be enjoyed by kids as young as 2 years old and will be a good book for early readers when they start reading.

Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What do you hear?

Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What do you hear? is one of the Eric Carle’s classics. Easy to read and enjoy with your young kids. It emphasis on some animal sounds that you can catch. It focuses on some of the not so common animals like hippopotamus, boa constrictor, flamingo, peacock, walrus, etc. I never knew peacock yelps, walrus bellows, and leopard snarls. It will definitely add to your children’s vocabulary while enjoying poetic style of the book that sounds like a song.

Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see? has unconventional illustrations that we will fall in love as we start reading it. This one of the Eric Carle books and you will see similar illustrations in all his books setting apart from other children’s books. You can recognize Eric’s books from a distance. The book has very bold pictures with blue horse, purple cat, black sheep, etc. When you read the book makes, you feel you read a poem. Kids as young as 1 or 2 years will enjoy reading it everyday. It can eventually be used when kids are ready to read.

Goodnight Moon

Goodnight Moon is one of our all time favorites. It shows different things in a room and goes on to say Good night to every thing around. We read every day for a while and fell in love with it every time. This will be a favorite book for 1 or 2 years old kids.
